A Time-Sensitive IoT Data Analysis Framework

This paper proposes a Time-Sensitive IoT Data Analysis (TIDA) framework that meets the time-bound requirements of time-sensitive applications. The proposed includes novel task sizing and dynamic distribution technique performs following: 1) measures computing network resources required by data analysis tasks application when executed on available devices, edge computers cloud, 2) distributes in way it requirement application. TIDA platform implements above techniques using Microsoft’s Orleans framework. also presents an experimental evaluation validates framework’s ability to meet applications smart cities domain. Evaluation results show outperforms traditional cloud-based processing approaches meeting time-bounds reduces total execution time 46.96%.
